Hi, has anyone seen the differences in quality that lenses have shooting the same
subject for test perposses?
i would like to compare the schneider optivaron, schneider kreuznach,
angenieux, neovarn and schnieder variogon.
i realize that the F-stop ,speed, asa, and
light play the most imprtant part in the overall picture ,but if you haven't a good
lens then , well your finished film won't
have the best result,
Or , are all good lenses the same.
besides the zoom , say the schneider kreuznach F1,8/6-66m& neovaron F1,8 7-56mm the same. with no difference in quality?
i can't do the test on my own,and wonder if it would be noticable.

The above chart may help; I don't know how to test them properly, and I have some to choose from, Namely a Switar and a Angenieux and a bunch of concumer types.
How should one (or both of up) proceed?

What I have noticed is that there is a bit of difference in glass. Zeiss has a different look than Cooke. However, to the average Joe I don't think they will notice. I think that they are even less likely to see it with Super8.
Shoot different glass and se what you think.
Good Luck
